Sarah’s loom weaving is expanding to include unique woven works made to honor the memory of a loved one. Using strips of fabric from a loved-one’s clothes, and their favorite colors, Sarah weaves their memory into a special hanging wall art.
Her first project-in-progress (shown here) is a woven piece made of her great-Uncle’s overalls, fleece clothes, and his favorite John Deere (yellow and green) colors. (“Silly” Uncle Bob and Sarah photo below)
Sarah’s creativity can tell a bit of someone’s story through textile memories. What a great memorial or gift.
